Family Money Matters

Written and accurate as at: Oct 24, 2018 Current Stats & Facts

We all know families and life in general works better when there’s less stress.  Money and financial issues are one of the leading causes of stress.

Get you finances sorted so you have less stress and a better family life.

Financial stress presents in all sorts of forms.  It could be that deep down you know you’re wasting money in your weekly budget.  It could be that you worry about the financial future, how to send that bright kid to uni, we’ll never pay the house off, how will we afford to retire.  For some it’s what happens if I get injured and lose my income or what if we have a long wet season and there’s not much work.  For other’s it could be worries about the Age Pension or about putting a loved one into Aged Care.  OR how can I ever get into my first home?

No matter what your financial concerns or goals, a good Financial Planner will be able to help.  The first meeting is free and we get an overview of your situation, future goals and concerns.  We will then give you a verbal outline of some potential solutions.  If they appeal to you we’ll set out the fees to proceed and these can often be deducted from your super.  We’ll then draw up and implement a plan to solve your problems and if required set up regular reviews to help you stay on track.

Some financial issues are one off, quick fixes but usually it involves changing some habits and then sticking with it long term.  You don’t pay off a mortgage or build wealth for a major goal overnight.  It involves making a plan, seeing a realistic projection of how it will improve things over time and then sticking to the plan until you achieve the goal.

If you or your family have some financial goals you want help achieving, use that first free interview to give it a go.

Take the financial stress out of your family and start living your best life.
